Representing the Kano State Commissioner for Environment and Chairman of the State Steering Committee, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, Aminu Gidado Yusha’u, urged the community to support the government’s efforts through cooperation and selflessness, to facilitate smooth project execution.
The Commissioner reaffirmed the state government’s unwavering commitment under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to address environmental challenges that have long hindered the socio-economic development of vulnerable communities.
Providing insights into the RAP, Environmental Safeguard Officer Alhaji Mukhtar Bello highlighted the need for full community engagement and cooperation, emphasizing that active participation from PAPs is vital for timely and successful project implementation and the subsequent commencement of civil works.
The District Head of Gama Community, Alhaji Rabiu Muhammad Isyaku, expressed gratitude for the government’s continued support under the Kano-ACReSAL initiative, assuring the community’s readiness to fulfill their roles and responsibilities diligently.
