Kano, April 7, 2025 — The Kano State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (Kano-ACReSAL) project today conducted a sensitisation session in the Bulbula-Gayawa community, Nasarawa Local Government Area, to outline the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) linked to the upcoming erosion control works.

The event aimed to inform Project Affected Persons (PAPs) and the local community about the RAP’s objectives and processes, emphasizing the importance of their active participation for the success of the project.

Representing the Kano State Commissioner for Environment and Chairman of the State Steering Committee, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, Aminu Gidado Yusha’u, urged the community to support the government’s efforts through cooperation and selflessness, to facilitate smooth project execution.
