The Kano State Project Management Unit, under the auspices of the ACReSAL initiative, held a bid opening today for the procurement of vehicles at its Conference Hall. The event was attended by management staff and representatives from various prospective companies vying for the contracts.
In his welcome address, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, the State Project Coordinator, praised the bidders for their dedication and commitment to the procurement process. He emphasized the project’s commitment to fairly evaluating all submissions to select the most responsive candidates for the contracts.
The evaluation process is set to commence shortly, with the aim of ensuring transparency and efficiency in the selection of suppliers.
A total of six companies submitted bids for two separate contracts. The first contract involves the procurement of two Hilux vans, one 16-seater bus, and one SUV jeep. The second contract is for the acquisition of ten trucks and two pay loaders.
