Kano-ACReSAL Participates in 3-Day Transformative Capacity-Building Initiative

Abuja, Nigeria – The Kano State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project, led by State Project Coordinator Dr. Dahiru Muhammad Hashim, is actively participating in a 3-Day Transformative Capacity-Building Initiative. This important event is taking place at the Bolton White Hotel and Abuja Continental Hotel.

The initiative brings together representatives from 19 participating states of the ACReSAL project and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), focusing on enhancing the capacity of stakeholders involved in climate resilience efforts.

Dr. Hashim emphasized the significance of this capacity-building initiative, stating, “This training is crucial for equipping our teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement climate-smart practices in our communities.”

The initiative aims to foster collaboration among states and enhance the overall effectiveness of the ACReSAL project in addressing the challenges posed by climate change in semi-arid landscapes.
