Kano-ACReSAL Staff Hold Iftar to Foster Unity and Celebrate Progress

Kano, March 15, 2025 — In a gesture of unity and gratitude, staff of the Kano-ACReSAL project gathered today for a special Iftar organized by the Honourable Commissioner of Environment and Chairman of the State Steering Committee, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim.

Held at the Kano-ACReSAL office, the event provided an opportunity for team members to break their fast together, strengthening bonds and promoting camaraderie among staff.

After the meal, the Commissioner commended the dedication and hard work of the team, highlighting their collective efforts in advancing the project’s objectives. He also shared a significant update, announcing that the World Bank has approved the initiation of erosion control works in Bulbula-Gayawa, Nasarawa LGA.

The gathering ended with prayers for ongoing peace and stability in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole. The event not only fostered team spirit but also reaffirmed the project’s firm commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
