• Planted 135,382 seedlings across the state, with support from individuals, State Authorities and International Organizations.
  Identified and implemented areas of need to determine appropriate interventions for the organization’s programs;
•  Developed and implemented various Radio Call in Programmes, social media skits and write ups to create awareness and ownership of tree planting in the State.
•  Created a pipeline project for the Kano State Ministry of Education to combat climate change, resulting in improved environmental sustainability in the state.
•  Collaborated with Kano State Government to develop and implement environmental policies, which led to increased participation from stakeholders and a positive impact on the environment.
•  Articulated policy information for effective planning, policy, and advocacy meetings to drive change in the environmental and climate change sector.
•  Utilized Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM) tools for planning and decision-making purposes, ensuring optimal use of resources. Ensured quality implementation of programs, and aligned
  them with the organization’s policy, resulting in the effective
  delivery of interventions.
•  Provided support to communities and Kano State Government in high-level feedback sessions to enhance capacity building for environmental and climate change workers.
• Conducted financial and substantive monitoring and evaluation of projects, identifying operational and financial challenges and developing appropriate solutions to mitigate them. Actively participated in the audit of NIM projects.

• Chief Environmental Health Officer/ Organization Secretary at Raffle Health Iniative, Kano Nigeria - An NGO that carries out health outreach in Kano. MAY 2021 - DATE
  •  Applied medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis and treatment of children and support referral to the nearest possible facility in Kano.
  •  Managed, trained and supervised the environmental health team of the initiative.
  •  Sensitized communities on environmental and personal hygiene promotion and protection.
  • Ensure integrated newborn and pediatric care through emergency, outpatient and inpatient department services.
  • Treat cases of malnutrition in line with protocols and universal precautions.
  • Propose modifications to preventive measures of paediatric healthcare management, implementing them once approved by the pediatric adviser.
  • Ensure quality of care by giving ongoing training to the multidisciplinary initiative team, reviewing complicated cases and providing technical advice.
