During the award presentation, the school’s State Commandant, GP Capt. N.U. Danjuma, a dedicated environmentalist, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to promoting environmental conservation. He commended Kano-ACReSAL for its efforts in addressing pressing environmental challenges within the community.
In his remarks, Dr. Dahir praised the school’s “Catch Them Young” initiative, which aims to instill environmental awareness among students from an early age. He emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation about sustainability practices to ensure a healthier planet for the future.
Additionally, Dr. Dahir announced that Kano-ACReSAL plans to engage 30 schools and 20 communities in climate change awareness programs, aimed at fostering a broader understanding of environmental issues. As part of this collaboration, he offered the school 5 hectares of orchards, further enhancing the partnership’s practical impact on environmental education and sustainability.
