The training is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of sustainable agricultural practices that can improve resilience to climate challenges within their communities.
Dr. Dahiru M. Hashim, the State Project Coordinator, addressed the participants, urging them to fully engage with the training material and ensure that the knowledge gained is disseminated among their respective Community Interest Groups (CIGs). “It is essential that you not only learn these principles but also share them with your communities to foster collective action towards climate resilience,” Dr. Hashim emphasized.
In his remarks, the State Project Coordinator also expressed gratitude to His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for his swift approval and continued support, which have been instrumental in facilitating the training and ensuring that deserving communities benefit from the community revolving funds.
This initiative reflects the Kano State government’s commitment to empowering local communities through education and access to resources, fostering sustainable development, and promoting climate-smart practices throughout the region.
